This shot may be appreciated by the locals of Esperance more than others, the immediately recognizable Whale Tail. This was my first attempt at shooting the whale tail and quite happy with the result. Typically shots seen of the whale tail are pointed in the other direction over the water and into the sunrise, I changed it up a little, shot toward town into the sunset. I even managed to get a few light trails from the passing cars
