I just loved visiting Lake Ballard in Menzies. The isolation of the place and story behind the artist who erected the 51 statues makes it well worth the visit if you get the chance.
This is an image I took at the very beginning of a recent photo road trip to North Western Australia; in fact it was the first stop we made. Thinking back I would have to say this was the best sky we had all trip, definitely a good start.
