An historical icon in Esperance the Tanker Jetty has a place in the heart of many locals and visitors alike.
This is the jetty as she as she used to stand just after the foreshore was redeveloped, now she has been dismantled and a new recreational jetty is being built in her place (the pilons were cut below the water to allow sealife to continue in their original habitat)
